Australia is experiencing a boom in the development of Data Centres. Under new Legislation Data Centres are required to “Bring Their Own Power”. A key factor in Powering These centres is Availability. Where as a grid connected facility typically reaches between 92.5 and 98% availability depending on its type Data Centres require 100%. For this type of requirement where the Power Island is not grid connected, smart design is required to meet availability needs and redundancy must be used in all aspects of Generation, Reticulation and Delivery. Our Solutions are based on rapid deployment Gas generation, more typically engines due to higher efficiencies and shorter lead times. In all cases Data Centres introduce two challenges, Managing Current through reticulation and delivering in periods less than a year.
